Wonderfold Full Frame Folding in Brushed Gold

This is the high end folding reader, the Wonderfold (model 1)! This Japanese manufactured frame is an optical grade stainless steel in a gold and palladium color that looks and fits great. The frame is a considered a full size frame, not a compact frame but is cleverly engineered to fold in on itself to fit neatly into a sturdy aluminum protective flip case. The technology behind this frame is wonderful: the temples are retractable and slide onto themselves for storage. Additionally, the bridge has two unique hinges which allow the lenses to fold in with the retracted temples lapping over each one. All to give this frame a compact form factor for easy storage in the sturdy metal flip top case. The lenses are a ground and pollished high end acetate and are optical quality. In fact, this frame is considered an optical quality reader and will last and give you years of reading enjoyment. Finally, the nose pads are made from a comfortable silicon which extend from sturdy spring floating stems. The unique bridge support will rest comfortably on a wide variety of nose shapes and keep your glasses securely in place.
